Bred by Dr. Keith Zary and introduced in 2009, Malibu deserves a place of honor in your garden, for not only are its flowers simply stunning, but the disease-resistant plant itself is a pure pleasure. It offers an upright habit of glossy, dark green foliage. There really is nothing not to love about this rose, and here at Jackson & Perkins, it has become a favorite.
Remove spent blooms to encourage more to arise. Prune in spring by removing old or dead wood and any canes that cross. If you live in a warmer climate, cut back the rest of the canes by about one-third; a bit more in colder areas.
